surprisingly dusty
I know it's chalk, but it's surprisingly dusty for its anti-dust label and breaks quite easily as well. I seem to mind more than the kids do, however.

Decent White Chalk
The Review:

I bought this for my son's Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Easel, and the chalk writes well on the chalkboard. I didn't notice any dust, but I didn't care if it was anti-dust or not. My son is four, and knows how to write well with chalk; he didn't have any problems with the pieces breaking or chipping.

Warning (not part of my rating -- just extra info):
I bought this from Amazon, and they didn't use any precautions when packaging this box of chalk, so several pieces were broken in transit. Luckily, the box it was packaged in didn't get smashed because there was no packaging material used at all, so the damage could have been worse.
