Customer Reviews

Actually quite good really........3
I enjoyed the rotten review of this, I read it just after I ordered Grandma and laughed a lot. I bought it for a 1/12th model and it is excellent value for that, it is well made, sturdy and very detailed. I did wonder when I bought it who they expected to sell it to. I imagine a production line (or packing line as there were 4 metal ties and 4 pieces of sellotape just to hold Grandma in to the double moulded plastic and cardboard container - it must have taken ages to pack, I know it took ages to unpack!) of workers wondering what the people of the west were going to do with these models - if they represent our old folks, what the brown box represented and what the faces on the box and radio represented. It was exactly what I wanted and I might buy some of the more human looking figures. How they make it for the money I don't know.

On the other hand...5
On the other hand.. this is a toy package containing:-

A granny with no face!
A Lenticular Maureen Lipman in a box!!

That's a win-win package right there! Hopefully, season five will feature an old bloke with no knees and a Sandy Toksvig in a bucket.

Definately for the fanatical fan!!!1
What the hell is this !?
I mean, you just gotta be kidding me !!!
A TV set and a Grandma with no face !!!
Now who in the hell would want this ???
You gotta be some poor desparate sad pathetic creature who lives in a cellar all day long who totally lives and breathes Dr Who to want this useless item as anything other than maybe perhaps ...a door stopper !!!

They have really changed the marketing face of Doctor Who into what was once a rare precious item to be savoured and cherished for years into a now commercialized product on a modern factory assembly line run by an organisation who will flog just about anything from Dalek Bottle Openers to this rubbish to make a quick buck$$$.
Come on !!!
Stop trying to rip people off !!!
and PS: - for any Doctor Who 'fan' out there who gives me a negative review will just make me laugh and only prove me right!
