Did they test this product before manufacture???
My daughter loves roary (and also is facinated by torches), so this should have been a great present.

BUT

It has a really bad design flaw.

To make the torch light up, press on Roary's cap.

To turn the torch off, press the red 'dome' behind roary's cap. This should be simple, but there is a black 'button' on top of the dome, which makes the 'dome' pop up. It is difficult for a child to press on the dome without touching this black area.

So, every time you try to turn the torch off, the 'dome' pops up. To close the dome, your child has to remember to press the black button again.

Whoever designed this did not test it on a child before marketing it.

I do not recommend this toy unless you are an evil uncle wanting to upset the children.

Roary Torch
My grandson loves this torch, it is by his bed at my house and is a comfort to him. The only down side is the switch off which requires a bit of pressure and sometimes takes more than one go.

Roary the Racing Car Torch
Great item and quite hard wearing will take some rough play and keep on working. A great item for any Roary fan!
