Even my 72yr old Dad loved it!5
There's a lot with this cottage including fifi, violet, primrose, stingo, slugsy and swing a round bumble. Its beautifully made and although easy to dismantle, the doors can be easily pulled off but easily put on again, its tough enough to stand up to a two yr old. It has great features like the cakes in the oven which magically rise!, the magnetic dancing flowers, the flowerpot that turns into a ring and a handle which cranks bumble round and round which my daughter loves.I think of all the toys which we've bought this is one of the most entertaining and the only problem we had with it was my daughter won't go anywhere without it and the the watering can spout has to be dismantled to get it in the box.

Great fun but pass on quality!5
My two and a half year old loves this cottage and there are quite a lot of features to keep her entertained for 30 minutes at a time. Little clever features like the magnetic dancing flowers and a plus that the cottage doesn't need batteries. Fifi can be put to bed with her covers on which my two girls adore!
On the down side the front door keeps falling off and Violet has a wheelbarrow that she pushes which for an adult is near enough impossible to fix to her hands (we're used to the playmobil quality!).
I'm sure my 2 year old and 3 year old will have lots of fun for a while playing with this toy but I don't expect it to last on the durability side and for £30 it's a little on the expensive side.

Great fun for any avid Fifi fan5
We gave this to our daughter for her birthday, and she really loves it. I would agree with other reviewers comments about the door coming off though - but she has now got the knack of opening it without it doing it. At least if it is pushed too far it doesn't seem to want to crack (unlike the Disney Princess Castle we have...), it just comes off and gets clipped back on again. While it's not made of that really tough stuff like Playmobil and Sylvanians (we don't let her little one year old brother get near it, even though he would just love to get tugging at that door), it's still quite strong and sturdy and isn't that really brittle plastic that some toys are still made of. All in all she's having some good fun with it and I'm sure it will 'grow' with her to a certain extent as her imagination grows - and we think this Easter holidays we're going to embark on making a garden together to go with it out of paper and bits and pieces!.....
