About the Author

Jonathan Emmett worked as an architect until he began writing children's books in 1995. He has achieved international success both as a picture book author and a paper engineer. RUBY FLEW TOO! (1 405 05162 0), illustrated by Rebecca Harry, was his first picture book for Macmillan.

Christyan Fox is the hugely talented artist behind TRAFFIC JAMBOREE (0 333 96573 6, Campbell Books). His bold, brightly coloured artwork is perfectly pitched for this young age group.

Fantastic pop-up book
My 15 month old loves pop up books and this one is very cool for boys (or machine loving girls). There are incredible, intricate yet sturdy, 3 dimensional pop-ups of a car, train, boat, airplane and rocket with an adorably attired cat & dog as passengers. I'm buying more as gifts!

Excellent value too!
