Product Description

A cheeky, fussy little engine, often getting into scrapes, usually by being over-eager to do things best left to bigger and more sensible engines.

Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
Steam into the fantasy world of Thomas the Tank Engine with this wooden Thomas engine. Small, blue and the number one engine, Thomas the Tank must surely be the most famous and lovable children's engine of all.

This Thomas engine is made from real wood and has a three-dimensional face, with a strong magnet allowing him to be coupled with his friendly carriages Annie and Clarabel or indeed one of those Troublesome Trucks (not included). Over the years (and these Thomas trains will have years of play value) these solid wooden trains will prove to be a great investment as they stand.

Let your child's imagination run wild as they recreate one of the many cheery Thomas adventures.

Thomas will work happily on the Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Sets and all other major brand wooden train sets. Suitable for children aged 2 to 6 years. --Victoria Mackenzie

    flair thomas and friends trains1
Do not waste your money on these trains. I have had brio trains for a number of years that still look like new. Within a few weeks of having these trains the paint is all chipped and looks really tatty. Unfortunately if you have a Thomas addict like my son you may have no choice. I will be scouring the country for the few remaining thomas trains that I need made by Brio!

    Stick with Brio5
I agree with the previous reviewer. These trains are not as well made or as durable as the ones which were made by Brio. I too am on the lookout for the few Thomas characters made by Brio we don't have.

    Could be alot better1
Having brought three trains of this type, for my son for his christmas present, I was sad to find after just one day of him playing with them the paint was already chipping off. But saying that he plays with them all the time, and they do get bashed about. So I did expect it, but not after just one day.
