Customer Reviews
My boys love it!
My son received this as a gift for his 3rd birthday. He and his little brother (almost 2) play with it almost constantly. The ladder was lost within minutes of course and the front bumper has broken off due to a few crashes, but other than that it's held up really well. It does receive a lot of punishment. My 3year old is now a huge Fireman Sam fan and watches/wants to watch the DVD's endlessly. I would recommend this to anyone whose kids have an interest in firemen.
Jupiter is great
What a superb toy for any Fireman Sam addict. My son who is 3 was amazed when the Easter bunny left him Sam and his engine! It is great for little hands to cope with, and Fireman Sam sits in the cab very easliy (unlike other friction toys in our house). An excellent buy, money VERY well spent.
Shame about the build quality.
Our three year old son has two of these, one with the sound effects and one without. He and his friends have played with them a lot however we have been really disappointed with how unsuitable they are for the age group that they are aimed at. He finds it extremely difficult to get the figures in and so we end up constantly having to do it for him. Also, the doors are flimsy, thin plastic so the window frames have snapped off, and also part of the platform has broken. It has definitely been good for developing his role play skills, but other than that I would hesitate to recommend it.
