A good few hours of fun
Not bad for the price, and the battery lasts pretty well. Difficult to get it to fly in straight lines.

Good fun, but
This is great fun, but...it is very small and fragile, so not for those who like to play rough, or those who don't have lots of space free of furniture etc. Also the packaging says it must not be used out of doors, though the product info on Amazon says it can 'on very still days'. Short flight time also a problem - hardly get to grips with it before it needs recharged...which takes quite a while. Not sure it's really worth all the fuss.

Really great helicopter!
I got one of these for my hubby for Christmas! It was really hard deciding which helicopter to get but I am pleased with my choice.

It works! It was a little fiddly getting it out of its packaging (harder than actually flying it if the truth be told!). We soon had the batteries fitted in the controller and the charger attached to charge the heli.

We were really unsure how things would go once we decided we were ready to take it for a spin, in fact we took it outdoors! We need not have worried though, you do not need a lot of room inside (and it has to be absolutely windless outside to fly it anyway).

We just took it steady and in no time we could take off, go around the room and land again! We had a few goes each then it was time to charge it up again, giving us time to play with our other toys!!

Now, don't expect to be able to control this heli as accurately as you would like, it DOES drift a little, you just have to go with it, not trying to turn AND elevate can be tricky as power is shared and using one control minimises the other.

IF you crash, and we did a few times, it doesn't feel as though it will damage the heli, you are just not going fast enough for one thing, and also as it is so light it just more or less drifts into a 'crash'. That said, it is quite delicate and should be treated with care obviously.

We are only on our second set of AA batteries, remember, you only fly around 5 minutes then you have to charge the heli internal battery again, then off you go again 15 - 20 minutes or so later. This is quite good, you really need to concentrate when you are flying, so it is nice having a rest while it charges!!

For the price, I would say that it is the perfect beginners heli! But beware, you will soon want bigger and better!!
