The feathers are treated to the European Oekotex standard at a very high temperature and each shipment is accompanied with the quality certification of a proper treatment. This kills all the dust mites and makes these feathers cleaner and healthier than any alternative. Due care is then taken while manufacturing these duvets, all the edges are always stitched with a twin needle sewing machine so the feathers cant squeeze out . Duvets are stitched in continental style, with a box baffle stitch which means each section is separated with a wall. You really dont need a 13.5tog duvet
As I say,this 10.5 tog duvet is great, keeps its shape lovely and soft, comfy up to almost luxurious! Have yet to put it into dry cleaners before storing it for winter, the reason i mention this is, we recently threw away four feather and down pillows from this range after putting them in the washing machine they absolutely stank..awful..tried drying them outside, extra washes, tumble drier sheets the lot..binned in the end! Be careful if you wash featherstuff at home, personaly i'm sending ours to the cleaners
