    Great Laptop4
I bought this as present, this is a great laptop for the price. The only thing is that there are no CD's for the operating system and applications that are shipped with the laptop. But all and all a good buy.

Quite simply the worst item of anything I have ever purchased in my life...ever.1
This has been a truly disastrous purchase...a total and utter waste of money which I bitterly regret. I would strongly urge anyone and everyone to stay away from this product. I bought it because my sister had an earlier model which she was happy with...until not long after my purchase, hers caught fire due to a faulty HP power lead. Here are just a few of the reasons why I hate my laptop with a passion:

    1. It takes an average 15-20 minutes to load the Internet.
    2. You cannot have more than one window open at any one time because it cannot handle it.
    3. The screen has now turned green and has lines running all across it, meaning that photos and videos are not properly viewable.
    4. The battery lasted a few months, it now no longer works unless you keep it plugged in.
    5. The Internet crashes every single time.
    6. The keyboard is pathetic, the keys break off easily.
    7. I have got through 4 pairs of headphones in the 1 year that I have owned it, because of a fault with the computer that damages them...something I have never heard of before.
    8. The computer freezes constantly, this I have been reminded of because it just did it whilst writing this.
    9. It is impossible to shut down, it only switches off when you press the 'off' button. Then it has the audacity to berate you for it when you next switch it on.
    10. The cursor control facility is dreadful. Almost seems to have a mind of its own.
    11. The product key number does not work, meaning the 'free' packages have only limited use.
    12. Icons on the taskbar frequently disappear making volume control and battery readings etc more stressful than they need be.
    13. Bits and panels are constantly falling off from underneath the laptop.

I have 159gb free from a capacity of 221gb and so can confidently say I have not overloaded the computer.

A terrible, terrible piece of equipment and this follows on from a faulty digital camera that I bought a few years ago which was also made by HP.

    Be warned.
