Customer Reviews
Fragile - With care
My lad thinks it is great....but only since I repaired the mounting points and brackets.
It's made of that pathetically weak cheap plastic, so a slight knock (it's a kids toy, for heavens sake) can break it....right in a position that is a pain to fix.
As for fun....he loves it.
Great buy
My 2 year old loves this - We are a car fanatic family, so naturally he wanted to "drive" mummys car all the time and would cry when he couldn't! Now he can help me drive everywhere. Great for role playing and for the money I think it is well worth it. I don't use the bottom leg part (keeps coming out) but it sticks to window fine without it. Other reviews have stated that it isn't very durable, but for under a tenner what do you expect?? Only other issue (maybe it's just me!) is getting the keys in can be tricky as the steering wheel covers the hole. Over all, my son loves it and we have no more tears when wanting to go out somewhere!
Cheap and nasty but great fun for a little one..
My daughter was desparate to drive our car, trouble is she's only 18 months old so Backseat driver seemed like a good idea.
The product if fairly cheaply made, one of the buttons stuck in and the bracket on the back falls out easily. I took it apart and sanded the sticky button and a little masking tape on the bracket lugs makes it fit nice and tight now.
As for it's "playability" it's really good, my daughter loves it. It makes alot of noise but you can always take the batteries out when enough is enough.!!
Construction rating is low but fun factor is high.
I'd still recommend it though, mainly as there's no alternative.
