Should have been included with the console but....5
OK so this definitely should have been included with the console but seeing as it isn't I would recommend it as the console needs C batteries and they don't last long. It is a lot more economical to pay out on this then buy endless batteries.
However, LeapFrog - this should have been included...

A necessary evil3
It's hard to rate this objectively as it really is a necessary part of the console system and should have been included in the first place. Unless you want to go through batteries like a lunatic then you have to buy this item, which beggars the question as to why Leapfrog didn't have the foresight to see this problem? Oh silly me, of course they could see this and just thought they'd screw another few quid out of us poor parents for the fun of it. It loses a few stars for this reason alone, other than that, it works as it should- but shame on you Leapfrog.

Saves a lot of cash4
This is essential for the Leapfrog computer; 4 "C" cell batteries last about 2 hours. It pays for itself very quickly.
