A great little toy and not too loud
This was originally given to my first child, a girl, who really loved the movement and music. My son then inherited it and has been fascinated from the first time he saw it. The gear ratio is low and it will not pinch fingers. Gears may be moved for different patterns, they can also be stacked. My children are both in school but will not let me pass this toy on to their cousins. They still like it very much.

A Great Hit!
I bought this for my grandson's 2nd birthday and he absolutely loved it. He put it on the floor and pressed the button then leapt in the air with excitement as the lights flashed and the music started. Once the gears started spinning he jumped onto one end of the sofa, ran along behind me and jumped off the other end to restart it. Being a boy, he soon discovered slinging the gears in every direction before they stopped spinning was huge fun and because they're so easy to put back in place he could keep this up for ages. We both enjoyed it enormously!

brilliant
I bought this toy for my son when he could first sit up and it was an instant hit. It was easily his favourite toy which he would play with for hours. He still plays with it now and he is two. It is quite repetitious but he seemed to like that, and combined with wheels you cant go wrong. Like the other reviewer he wont let me pass it on to his baby cousin. It is great for babies who like wheels and things that go round.
