Great Quality and Thick
After much deliberation I chose this mat because I practise on a hard laminate floor and wanted a bit more padding than normal. In this respect it's proven to be a good purchase.

It's quite good looking and the stripes help to you get your feet aligned in certain poses. I'd recommend it.

Horrible looking mat
I agree with both the previous reviews- the mat is lovely and thick but it is a HIDEOUS pattern. BEWARE if you want a striped one as mine looks more like tye dyed and neither Amazon or Gaiam seem bothered about the huge inaccuracy of the picture.

Nothing like the photo
The mat itself is fine, however the colours were nothing like the photo. Psychedelic vomit would have been the best description--wasn't stripes at all, the bulk of mat is dirty brown with bits of fluoro green, pink and purple--we were really disappointed.
