How unpronounceable can you make a childs toy??2
So ridiculous name aside, is this foamy plastic thing any good for a kids party? Well having just bought one, I can say no. no it isn't.
It's one of those things that does a good job of making it sound cool but ultimately it really isn't at all.

It claims that you can `throw it as a Frisbee' and `catch it like a ball' these two things book end the toy `flying like a cyclone', which it is supposed to do mid air...well the truth once you squeeze the phlatball flat (funny that) which is held like this with a suction cup inside, you then have to somehow Frisbee it away - which was awkward enough for me let alone a five year old, at which point depending on how it feels, it will either stay closed, making it a blighter to catch without hurting your hands or pop into the expanded shape the second it leaves your throwing arm. This is supposed to be adjustable by the timer, but it's not a timer, it's just a tension adjuster for the rubber band that is trying to pull this to a ball shape - and it isn't accurate enough to have any consistency.

Once this has gone up and down the garden a few times it will have you wondering why you flattened it in the first place and in my case wonder why you didn't just get one of those foam Nerf howler balls that whistle when thrown, because after a sunny birthday last weekend where that particular toy took the limelight, I imagine the only place my phlatball will be being thrown is the bin.

Boo.
