A good overview3

This book provides a good overview of the long distance paths & is written in a quite entertaining way.
It does rather descend into a list of turn left, turn right etc. which becomes a little repetitive. It would be better with either a few more sketch maps, or being more of an overview of the route. It seems to fall in between being a specific pace-by-pace guidebook and a looser review of the walks.
Having said that it does give you a good flavour of the walk which is after all the object of the exercise.
