Garmin GPS cradle
Having lost the cradle which came with my Garmin 1490T I was looking for a cheap replacement.
This cradle performs its function alright but it really is too small for the 1490T, but it does fit the smaller NUVI's better.
The whole unit, and the ball lock mechanism on the back in particular, is very bulky and quite ugly - however it was cheap.
The moral of this story is don't lose or break the cradle supplied with the original equipment.
However for me this is all academic because I am rapidly losing faith in Garmin car nav systems which I find are not that reliable as a good map.
