Customer Reviews

Thumbs Up!4
Having bought this as an upgrade for the Cardo Scala Rider headset that came with the TomTom Rider V2, I can't say I'm disappointed. In the local area it allows me to ride round listening to the FM radio without the faff of retuning, for longer runs I can listen to my MP3 player using a small FM transmitter to link the MP3 player to the headset. That all leads me on to the one little thing that'd improve the Scala FM, hence the lack of the fifth star - the fitment of RDS so it can be tuned to a radio station and automatically retune as I go.
Even with earplugs in, I can clearly hear music, navigation instructions and mobile phone calls at speed. Even when using the headset to talk on the phone, people are surprised to find out I'm riding a motorcycle.
The speakers aren't at all intrusive and don't cause any undue pressure on the earlobes.

Great bit of kit..shame it doesn't have RDS..would be worth the extra. Works really well with a Zumo 550 at speeds up to 80 mph..after that you shouldn't be using it anyway!
