SPECIAL OFFER!
Purchase a Snooper Indago during August and September 2007 and get FREE speed camera updates for life worth £99.95!
The Snooper Indago Portable Satellite Navigation system is the very latest and most advanced 2in1 navigation product on the market. Not only does it guide you simply and effectively from door to door, it also has the added ability to alert you to ALL ‘fixed´ speed safety cameras and accident blackspots so you will arrive at your destination safely.
The beauty of Indago is in it´s simplicity. The unit comes with street level UK mapping pre-programmed on a 256MB SD card. All you need to do is attach the unit to your vehicles windscreen, switch it on and you are ready to go. It really is as simple that! There is no need to download any mapping from your PC or the internet, just plug in and play.
Extra attention has also been placed on making Snooper Indago the easiest and most convenient navigation unit available. You can search and plan a route to your destination by simply keying in a simple street name, a town or city or even just the postcode. Regular routes can be saved in a ‘Favourites´ file and can be reached in seconds and a separate file even records a history of your most recent trips so that you can return to them at the press of button. An extensive list of ‘Points of Interest´ is also included, so even if you are not sure where you want to go, Indago can help you find your nearest hotel or even leisure centre!
A touch screen makes using Snooper Indago simple, whilst a built-in rechargeable battery means that no permanent installation is required and there are no trailing wires, plus you can move it easily between vehicles.
Once your route has been planned, Indago will give you accurate turn by turn instructions to your destination with helpful voice prompts and a colourful, moving 3D map.
Whilst remaining affordable the new Indago system is manufactured from the highest quality materials and only uses the highest quality software. A satellite navigation system is clearly only as good as it mapping software and that´s why Indago utilises Navteq street level mapping, ensuring that you can travel from A to B using the best route possible and more importantly, without getting you lost!
Genuine Speed Safety Camera location
Other units like Tom Tom, Garmin and Road Angel offer you the chance to know where speed cameras are on your route, but no other satellite navigation system utilises Snooper´s unique Enigma database. Enigma incorporates camera locations across Europe, so from Manchester to Monaco you will always be protected.
Indago offers even more unique features by using Snooper´s camera location technology. Unlike other portable navigators, Indago provides full, clear alerts, confirming the speed camera type, the speed limit at the point of the alert and counts down accurately to the hazard.

Best choice for a 2 in 1 sat nav speed camera detector
I agree with the last reviewer. The unit is the best looking with the best build quality I have seen. Routing is fine and I have used Tom Tom which often seemed to have problems. The best point though is the speed camera detection - it tells you the speed limit visually and with a voice alert and the quality of the database is second to none - even temporary cameras in road works are featured, it's superb.
Well worth the money
Not sure if the last reviewer actualty had a Snooper Indago, but from the comments I don't think so
To clarify
1)It's ~25mm thick much thinner than most, especially Tom Tom 510 etc
2)You hold the on button for 2 seconds, to make sure it does not switch on / off accidentaly, even so how often do you do this
3)The display is fine, even when driving you can read them, also you can zoom in if you want to
4)It recalculates the route within 10 seconds of going off course
5)Jack / Jill options, how many do you want? Do you really need 50
6)ABC / Qwerty don't care either way
7)Can't comment on the above but any I have done so far have been the best routes
8)You pay for quality materials
9)Yes you pay £4.95, but you get a proper camera database that updates every 24hrs, also Tom Tom is not free, it's 40/yr and they don't update as often.
10) The good points. It uses Linux OS so is much more stable than most of the others.
Snooper - the best got better!
I have owned a Snooper S6-R & Snooer Evo 4 GPS Detectors, and this is the 3rd Snooper Unit I have owned. The reason for choosing the Indago is the positive experiences to date of the previous 2 units, and also the experience of the other SatNav systems I have used over the last 18 months.
TomTom's etc expertise is SatNav systems, Snooper's expertise is that of Radar GPS SYstems. In this case the Indago combines the best of both worlds, and I would highly recommend the Indago. Invariably there are pro's & con's to each system, and the only fault I have found with this system is the windscreen mounting system.Would I recommend this sytem? Definitely!
