Great Invention
Great piece of equipment, it does everything that is claimed. It doesn't
move on the dash and is simple to use. Another bonus is that being closer to you it is easier to view the Sat-Nav. Full marks would recommend to anyone

Effective if you drive slowly on the flat
This product is very solid and well weighted, the rubber grip which is supposed to stop the mount from slipping around on the dash also feels as anti-slip as is technically possible. On flat roads driving sensibly this product does what it says on the box, the problem is if you have to accelerate up a hill, the sat nav (mine is a normal size Garmin live 540) and the mount will still land up in your lap everytime. Within 24hours of owning this product I had reverted back to attaching my sat nav to the windscreen and hoping that nobody steals the windscreen mount which I am again now leaving in the car due to the hassle of detaching/reattaching it. My Nav-Mat is now used as a paper weight/ cup mat on my desk.

Nav Mat
It stays still ok on the dashboard but does not suit TOM TOM sat navs as the body touches the mat and can't be adjusted and as Tom Toms are the market leaders it needs modifying. We have modified ours by putting another piece of plastic in it to lift it out of the mat!!
