Better than I expected
Brilliant! I have some experience with Sat Navs and I can say this is well worth the money. Box and contents arrived in mint condition, not a mark, packed very well. Very simple, a simple colourful User Guide (didn't need to read it), nice simple support web site, all the accessories you need and ready to go out of the box. I plugged it in the car and it seemed to instantly grab my location (new road), absolutely no signal problem and my biggest surprise was the car park where I live-well its hard to describe but this it the first Sat Nav I have used that actually navigated the car park to the door! The post man gets lost and thats no joke. Recommended as a first Sat Nav, or a replacement even if your used to paying more I don't think you would be disappointed.

Good value for money
I have used a number of different sat nav's that i have borrowed from friends & family and was keen to see how this one fared against the big brands. I was impressed by the slim design and sterdy mount which was easy to set up. The menu system is easy to to use and the maps are clear which makes them easy to follow. I'd say a good cheap alternative to the brands if you're looking for a cheaper (but reliable) alternative.

Fantastic value
I have just bought a time traveller 1000 and have to admit to being very wary about what I would get for this price and was not reassured when I saw the instruction manual which is next to useless.

But I switched the unit on and found it really simple to use and it found the signal and my location with seconds.

If you are looking for a very basic, simple to use and cheap Sat Nav this could be the one for you.

It has all I want from a Sat Nav including speed camera mapping and speed limit warnings.

There is no indication that it will be possible to update the maps so it will become out of date but at this price I do not regard that as a big deal.
