Synopsis
The boy superhero returns to save the world in this spin-off from the original animated series. When he first happened upon the Ominitrix five year ago, it gave Ben the power to turn himself into 10 different aliens--each with its own incredible abilities. Ben eventually gave up his role as a defender of Earth, and returned to normal life. But when Grandpa Max disappears, it sets Ben and his friends on a new course of interstellar adventures. This collection presents the first five episodes of the action-packed show.

Growing with the fans5
While the original Ben 10 cartoon was an irreverant piece of fluff to enjoy this is an altogether more grown up affair. Having now advanced into the teens Ben and Gwen team up with former enemy Kevin as they discover a new race of aliens seemingly intent on "cleansing" the universe of being other than themselves (quite an adult theme to base your kiddies cartoon on).

Some of the wonder is gone of Ben discovering that he's got a whole new cast of aliens in his watch - though there are cameos of some familiar alien faces in various forms throughout.

I would highly recommend this to any Ben 10 fan. I'm 32 and I think it's one of the smartest cartoons out there right now.

I'm converted !!5
After watching/listening to many hours of various "cartoon" Ben 10's. I can honestly say I can, will and do watch this with my son quite happily :-)

Stunned at how good this is!5
With a 4 year old called Ben, it wasn't surprising that he would latch onto all the Ben 10 merchandise. I groaned and thought that this would be another awful American cartoon. Sitting reluctantly to look at his new DVD (pretending to be as excited as he was) I was stunned. It's very watchable, very fast moving and highly imaginative.

Needless to say it hasn't been far from the DVD player all week -but my wife and I don't really mind, which is praise indeed...
