Manufacturer's Description
Each player chooses a colour and places a piece of his choice on the board. Pieces must touch at least one of their opponent's pieces. Players continue placing pieces, one at a time, on the board. As each new piece is placed, it must touch at least one face of the same colour, but not extend beyond the plan's height limitation. The game is over when all pieces have been placed or players have no more moves. the player with the most cubes visible from the above is the winner.

Blokus 3d
Blokus 3 D is a reasonable good game but doesn't compare to the orignal blokus which is much more of a brain teaser.

If you know Blokus, think again for buying this
Blokus is a great game, it has given me lots of fun with friend and I was really anticipating the same experience with Blokus 3D. I'm afraid it didn't deliver. It's a good game, but with a plastic like quality. Never mind too much though, but to build 3D, one has to be quite careful in block placement as it can be quite easy to topple over. The instructions are clear, but the game is somewhat more limited in my experience. One does require 3D thinking and that's where the educational bits come into it. So overall I would say that this game is okay, components are good, it requires skills that you can work on but the gaming experience for me is lacking.
