don't hold the charge at all after less than 1 year
I've had eight of these batteries for my digital camera. After less than a year, when I recharge them (in an Energizer recharger) they don't hold any power. I insert them into my camera right after charging overnight, switch it on, and after 2 seconds it switches itself off, with the batteries dead. I've probably recharged them 20 times at most. I've read that this seems to be a problem with the 2500mAh capacity ones, I would stay away from them.
Reliable and good value
Bought these alongside the "Energizer 1 Hour Charger for AA + AAA Batteries" and have no complaints. I have charged them up from first use and used them in a variety of devices (GPS, digital camera and even, temporarily, an alarm clock), and so far have not had to recharge any of them. The GPS I have been using for over 10 hours now and the battery indicator is not yet half way down.
As a general heads up for anyone, rechargeable batteries are nearly, but not quite as long lasting as non-rechargeables, but they do save you money in the long run. Also, I researched these quite a bit before deciding on the Energizer brand; possibly the Duracell equivalent rechargeables are better, if more expensive, but other than that, these Energizer batteries are good value.
I'm not sure about these batteries.
I've two sets of these batteries and I'm not sure about them to be honest. Because the first pack I bought held their charge fairly well, I bought a second set to act as spares in case I ran out. This second set of battery does not hold their charge anywhere near as well as the first. I guess all things in life are a bit of a risk, it's just a shame that these had to be.
