Nice but the gears are a problem
Nice looking bike and very easy to put together - that is until it came to sorting out the gears. I now know why people pay the extra money and buy a bike from Halfords where they service the bike and make sure the gears are correct. However after many hours of fiddling and fine tuning (as well as cursing and swearing) we finally managed to get everything working smoothly (though the gear lever is so stiff you can't get it to go into 6th gear!!). Our 9 year old managed to do a 17 mile cycle ride however without complaining once, so it can't be that bad.
