Super fragile minimalistic rather quite atrocious
I loved these when i got them 3 weeks ago. They were fine in the dishwasher, despite being made from 2 sandwiched layers of thin glass. However, I just handwashed one and, when drying it on the inside with a SLIGHT amount of pressure, it exploded in my hand, so £10 (£20 for 2) for 3 weeks is not a value-for-money situation. They are handmade, I am pretty sure, so maybe I got one with a tiny flaw somewhere in the glass. Other reviews mention damage in the mail, so handle with care !

I may be imagining it, but I DO think that they keep your lager cold for a reasonable amount of time. And should keep coffee hot - but, bearing in mind para 1, don't use a metal spoon to stir.

UPDATE - 10 MINUTES LATER - ...AND they drew blood when I cleared the shards up off the floor. For that reason, I'm out...

UPDATE - 3 months later - ... the second one is still going stong, although I now AM pretty careful when hand-drying it. Fine in dishwasher, though.

Just perfect!
Got a couple of these and they are beautifully stylish and does keep drinks hot or cold for longer periods of time than ordinary mugs or glasses.

It's also worth noting that even though the contents are cold or hot, the outside stays near room temperature making it easy and practical to handle.

They are not particularly fragile and can be washed in the machine no problem.

I've already ordered more of these from Amazon.

Classy but fragile
Lovely to use and no need for coasters. Great for speciality teas where 1 cup just isn't enough and a mug seems so proletarian! Already lost one within a month due to knocking it over on a hard surface - the outer wall smashed. So if you're more careful than I am, they are great. I ordered a replacement straightaway so wasn't phased. Strangely got replacement pair at half the price I originally paid, from Amazon itself.
