Great fun with a realistic sounding whistle
I've bought this for my two and a half year old son for Christmas and had to try it out myself. It's a nice size, seems fairly durable and is very simple to operate. The whistle sounds fairly realistic and should be a hit with any toddler. If I had to criticise it (and it's hardly worth mentioning really) I would say that the train does move slower than I expected it to. Other than that, it's a great toy and I can't wait to see my little one's face when he receives it on Christmas Day!

Not what i expected...
This looks like a great toy and sounds great...

I got this for my 2 year old son for his Birthday...he loved the look of it and the sound the wistle makes but within half an hour it stopped working...i changed the batteries just in case this was the problem...it was not.

Its worthwhile buy if your child loves looking at thomas...but not much to play with

Fantastic value for an action toy
Although rated 24months+ our little grandson enjoyed playing and crawling after Thomas on his first birthday.
He simply appointed Daddy as the Guard complete with whistle.
