Manufacturer's Description
With more of us wanting the healthy life style and healthier living to go with it, Kenwood have developed this Centrifugal Juicer. You simply turn it on, put the fruit in the top; it then extracts the juice into a juice jug (included), and ejects the pulp into a separate container at the back. There are 2 speeds for both soft and hard fruit, and there is a safely interlock to prevent children and adults from harm. It is also very compact so it will not take up too much of that valuable work space, and this model has a stunning chrome finish.

You get what you pay for1
I am saving up for a better one! Although this does produce juice, there is not very much and a lot of waste. A foolish, impulse buy that will be taken to a car boot sale soon.

'You get what you pay for' - Dreadful!!!!1
This juicer was bought for me for Christmas. I'm not being ungrateful, but I have returned it to the store where it was purchased with the present givers' blessing and upgraded to a more efficient model! The store weren't happy as I had used it, but luckily, when the Manager was consulted, she too had tried this model and agreed that it wasn't fit for the purpose!

It looks good on the worktop as it is stylish and compact and was an affordable price - but those are the only positive comments you could make. The feed tube is very narrow so you have to chop the fruit quite small. The spout is too short, so any juice you do get dribbles down the side of the machine onto the worktop making a dreadful mess. Inside the machine, the plastic dish that feeds the spout is badly designed, allowing juice to go into the main body of the juicer that cannot be removed for washing - the instructions say to 'wipe clean' - surely not hygenic?

If you do want to be encouraged to eat more fruit and veg by juicing, then you really need to pay more and get one that actually works! There are plenty on the market and I am VERY happy with the results obtained with my replacement machine.

Kenwood Chrome Juice Extractor2
While this has been useful to introduce me to juicing the machine is so messy I was almost put off. The spout is so close to the machine than the juice runs down the outside of the glass and all over the worktop. You get a lot if pulp for one small glass of juice and there seems to be a lot of froth on the top. The chute is very small and everying has to be chopped up very small making it a fiddly process.
