Excellent coffee
I had a Gaggia machine in the house - couldn't get it to make decent espresso - this little machine is fantastic - great coffee at the touch of a button.

Other reviewer makes the point about Nestle corporate track record - I think they have vastly improved on corporate responsibility. You could alway do a diy refill of the pods with Fairtrade coffee.

Coffee Maker Review
I've given this 5 stars to off-set, albeit only partially, the ridiculous review bleating about Nestle - My experience of another Nespresso Krups coffee maker is that it has excellent build quality and is going strong after several years regular use.

Best Coffee Ever!
I bought one of these because I love espresso coffee but found that making it with a manual espresso machine too time consuming & messy (i.e. messy coffee grounds, measuring out the right amount, clean up etc...). I often only have half an hour for lunch & found myself relying on instant. Not good!
That was my main criteria for purchasing this machine. Time! However after having this for little over 2 days, I'm so glad I took the plunge (HA!). The coffee this thing produces is actually much better than anything I was able to create with my manual machine. You get a wonderfully strong, smooth coffee with a thick long lasting crema. I'm no Barista sure - but then I have no yearning to be - I just want fast, delicious coffee & the Nespresso delivers superbly every time. In fact from cold, it's actually faster than making instant! I can't recommend it highly enough. Buy it now!
