Customer Reviews

Vibration loosening a big problem with this bike1
I've finally had enough of this bike falling apart on me and summoned up the anger to write a review.

I received this bike in good time and had to put a few of the different parts together but nothing too taxing. I was impressed at the amount of different accessories that were provided and the bike was ready for my daily commute in no time.

I hadn't cycled it for more than a few hours when the crank in between the pedals started to loosen. This was to be a re-occurring theme, not just with this part but the WHOLE BIKE. On the first ride the vibrations of London's fairly bumpy roads had shaken lose the mud guard screws so they had completely fallen off. I diligently set about tightening every nut and bolt in a bid to stop this from happening again but before long the rest of the bike followed suit.

The mud guard completely fell off the front wheel followed by the front wheel a couple of days later. The pedal crank perpetually loosens and recently I had the delight of flying out into the middle of the road at a busy junction when I turned the handle bars but the steering column had loosened so much that the wheel remained completely straight. I think this bike is unsafe to ride unless some sort of locking nuts and other measures are taken by the manufacturer to prevent this from happening.
