Deceptively Simple and Highly Effective
I have previously owned a Tom Tom go and sometimes found it to be a bit reluctant to find a satelite connection for the first 5 minutes of starting driving. This latest offering has found a signal immediately every time I have used it. The directions are clear and I have been able to find my destination easily each time. I have found it to struggle with my Scottish accent when it comes to voice commands, which is why I have given it 4 stars. For example it has never yet recognised Portsmouth. It does however recognise other destinations. I have no problems using the touch screen for directions. The display is clear and easy to see and the pictures when coming up to motorway junctions are outstanding. I would highly recommend this product, and so far amazon has proven to be cheapest yet again.
TomTom GO 930 Satellite Navigation System 
Having had all the models of the Tom Tom since the original Tom Tom Go, they never stop including the best of new functions to make life on the road easier to cope with. The best feature of this model for me is that I do not now have to use a separate hands free kit for my mobile phone as you switch on the Tom Tom it connects to your phone, and can be activated by voice. Also very quick traffic reports with auto diverts planned for you. Would highly recommend.
Tomtom Go 930
There is little doubt that the Tom Tom Go 930 is a piece of advanced technology, with many fine features. Unfortunately the one I had failed to meet the standards in many respects. Thank goodness for the reset button, otherwise it would have been completely useless.
Constantly failed to load up properly, often freezing on the owner page.
Constantly switched itself back on after being switched off.
During phone calls, it regularly, shut down and then restarted.
Despite having laminated car windows and having the unit on full volume, it was difficult to hear voice on the incoming calls.
Paid for safety camera service, however device failed to warn on most cameras I passed.
After down loading an upgrade several TT Home programes failed to work.
Generally, very poor, returned after two weeks of frustration.
