    Great sound shame about the cables4
    Using my HT-BD1252 with a Samsung 40" series 6. All works as expected including remotes ( one reason that i went all Samsung ) .
    Negatives first ;
    1. The cables for the speakers are WAY too short . Had to use rear speaker cables for front pair, then had to make up new extended cables for rears. Come on Samsung on a product like this how much would it cost to put longer cables in the box ???
    2. This unit is powerful and will get hot! My old tv cabinet was semi enclosed. Bad idea . Make sure its well ventilated.
    Positives ;
    seems to be well constructed on outside and sound quality is excellent, you may need to fiddle with settings to get it right for you . And the power output will shake your fillings out!
    Really pleased with unit even more so when you consider the price.

    At last a Blu Ray home cinema system5
    I've been on the look out for a Blu Ray home cinema system for a while but there is not many reasonably priced ones on the market yet. Bought this one a couple of weeks ago and am not dissapointed, the picture quality is fantastic but what really stands out is the sound quality, it is awesome. One small draw back I've found is that sometimes the sound is out of sync with the picture, which apparently is to do with the encryption type. There is a feature which allows you to eliminate this issue but it can be a bit fiddly messing around with sound delays to get it in sync, surely this could be done automatically??

    Some issues, but excellent considering the price4
    I had um'ed and ah'ed about buying this for some time and finally gave into temptation last week. The unit turned up well packed, i assembled it together and was pleased to see that it's very nicely designed and looks awsome with my Samsung TV. However...

    I put in a blu-ray disc and discovered there were multiple artifacts (Visual distortion/Huge square bugs in the picture) every few moments so i unplugged the unit and tilted it. Something was broken inside :( I called amazon early next morning and they sent me a new system within 24 hours (Excellent customer service)!

    I put it together again and was blown away by the clarity of the picture but most of all by the sound of the speakers! I have hooked it up to my Xbox 360 via optical cable and i'm telling you the gaming experience has been improved 10 fold!

    However.... I have watched a couple of blu-Ray movies and have seen for a split secound a couple of artifacts again (it happens twice max. in a whole film) which i am a bit annoyed about. Does anyone else have this issue i wonder? Firmware is up-to-date. The ipod functionality is basic, you navigate the same menu structure that is on the ipod i recommend making playlists for easy playing.

    NO HDMI CABLE IS SUPPLIED! This is a low budget Blu-Ray Home cinema, despite the very rare drop in picture quality issue and lack of HDMI cable i am very happy purely because it was so affordable. The sound system really is the 'mutts nuts' especially when playing High Def games. I recommend Sunshine, Transformers, Iron Man and Casino Royale to kick start any blu-ray collection.
