Sealskins waterproof socks
These are fantastic! I've been wearing my pair for orienteering for about 6 months now and putting them through wash every week when they arrive home covered in mud (40degC as per washing instructions) and they are still completely waterproof. My son is now also running in a pair and is equally pleased with his.

I cycled around the Cairngorms in winter with these socks. I must have gone through 50 fords and rivers. They will not keep your feet bone dry if you go into rivers, what they do is keep your feet warm and that's more important when you're out for 8 hrs in minus deg temperatures. Not been off feet!
Bought these for my husband to help out with not so great boots on dog walks. Well, couldn't have been better timed - with this recent spell of bad weather they are in use 3 times a day - and he is absolutely delighted with them.
