    my best kitchen toy5
I love my gadgets in my kitchen and I have quite a few - slow cooker, bread maker, electric grill, posh sandwich maker, veg steamer, rice cooker etc, etc, but my Rosemary Conley Electric Wok has to be one of the best gadgets I have ever bought. I cook practically EVERY thing in here, fast cooking, slow cooking, the lot. It is so easy; how many other gadgets apart from the kettle do you use nearly every day? I would highly recommend this wok to every one from learners to experienced cooks.

    Cooks up a treat !5
For what it gives you as value for money - excellent! For a new way of cooking and eating healthily, fast and inexpensively - priceless !! This wok has changed the way I eat. Stir fries are the order of the day - and the Rosemary Conley Energi Electric Wok is so fast and easy to use and clean afterwards. Why do I like this particular wok so much? It is light in weight, having a teflon covered aluminium bowl, so easy to get out and use. Unlike many other electric woks, the element is built into the base of the bowl, (heats better, faster) and is completely waterproof - as is the wok stand, which attaches by a spring-loaded twist catch. Unless you've been extra messy, you never have to wash the stand, just the bowl, but both can go straight into sink or dishwasher - easy-clean, too! The mains lead (don't wash this!!) has a plug one end and the heating control the other - just push the male connector into the receptor on the bowl. The small instruction book is useful - always pre-heat the wok before putting oil or ingredients into the bowl, and for stir-fry (it can be used also for soups, rice, stews, etc) put it onto top Heat 10, cover with tough see-through glass lid and allow to heat for a few more minutes after the thermostat light goes out. You can stir-fry with or without using oil, but I use a little carotino (red palm and canola oil - highly recommended and very good for you - just Google "carotino cooking oil") when I do my veggie stir-fries. How come it's so cheap - well, for a great fast stir-fry meal, buy a 400g (for one, or 600-800g for two) pack of prepared stir-fry veg (cabbage, peppers, onion, etc), half (or all) of a pack of fresh egg noodles, about 4 closed-cup mushrooms per person, coarsely chopped, and I always add a small handful of cashew nuts (buy 1Kg pack at my local store for about £6.50 - lasts for ages!), and a teaspoon of mixed herbs. Once wok is hot, throw this all in and use two wooden spoons (or wide teflon spatulas) to continuously turn over for 5 minutes - allowing steam to escape so no puddle forms at bottom - and then add some tomato-based stir-fry sauce (make sure you get inexpensive bottles that contain at least 95% chopped tomato and tomato puree) and mix in well for about 1 minute - then all ready to serve! Dish out straight onto warmed plates, sprinkle over some grated parmesan, sling the wok into the sink or dishwasher, and enjoy! The non-rabbits amongst us can use chicken chunks and prawns, etc, to put into this mixture (ensuring these are properly cooked, possibly by pre-cooking before turning up heat prior to adding stir-fry veg and noodles). What an easy (and cheap!) way to eat, all ready in less time than its taken me to write this - so get your Rosemary Conley Energi Electric Wok today and change your life-style for the healthier and leaner ! EnerGi CT - WK3 Electric Wok5
This is my first electric wok and it is brilliant. Very versatile piece of kit. Easily holds enough food to feed a family of six. Brilliant for making stir frys and curries in as when the food has been cooked the dial can be turned down to number one or two. This allows the food to be kept warm if someone is running late for tea without drying it out. Requires little (if any) oil and is simple and quick to clean. Most usefull piece of kit in my kitchen.
