Dont bother
This item, when eventually shipped, I had to chase them up about a "lost delivery" lasted about an hour. That involved placing the tomtom in the device until removing it, at which point the weak springs and plastic snapped. And I was not heavy handed!

There is a better version

Toyota Fixing
For the price this mount is useful but be careful I drive a Toyota Auris and when my TomTom 520T is mounted on the centre air vent it does not pivot sufficiently downwards to prevent glare and so at times the screen cannot be read.
