Oh dear.....!! DIY again.
Does it work...? Well yes I suppose so, after a fashion.

I used it with a Navman S30 which is one of the lightest SatNav's around and the bracket just works loose and finishes up pointing at the floor of the car. Attempts to tighten it up don't last long and within a few miles it's back pointing downward again - which is a real shame because it looks like the sort of gadget that should work really well. It's just too flimsy.

The suction part seems OK although it does wobble a bit, but it's the screwed swivel joint that lets it down. I'm now looking at some way of locking it into position. If you're prepared to experiment with it or superglue it in the position you want then it may be worthwhile. If you're looking for something to use out of the box there may be better units around.

Avoid at all costs
Not long after I bought this product it just fell apart and stopped working, I just couldnt be bothered with the hassle of returning it so I just threw it away in the nearest dustbin.

Avoid this product at all cost and purchase something a little bit more expensive and A LOT more suitable for the job in question.

Spare S70 Holder
I purchased this for travelling. The actual 'holding' mechanism is very flimsy and I doubt that it would last long if in constant use, but as a spare to sit in a hire car for a few weeks a year it will do.
