not built to last
you have to wonder who designed these - the figures do not fit properly into the seats in the vehicles and the vehicles themselves are very flimsy. they are (I assume) designed for young children which means they should be able to survive some bangs and scrapes but these vehicles are just not strong enough.

my 3 year old son loved them when he opened them but quickly got frustrated at not being able to get the figures in and out properly. overall not something I would recommend.

My son loves these.....
Got this for my son last month and being a fireman sam fan he loves it. These are well built, especially to survive the treatment my boy gives to all his toys. He spends hours playing with these.
Overall a good toy and value for money.

Help I need the jaws of life....
We bought the emergency play set as potty training incentive for our 2 & half year old. Essentally its a great idea as has all the favourite characters. The shame is that the charaters do not fit properly inside. He's only had Nurse flood & Sam & Jupiter & the ambulance so far but the person is too big and not flexible enough for a child to be able to put into the vehicle. The stabilisers are great and the ladder which comes out the back of Jupiter is great, we keep getting rescued and cut out of imaginary vehicles by the 'jaws of life'. Our son is always singing the Sam theme tune and attempting to slide down anything vaguely resembling a fireman sam pole! make the figures a tad smaller and give us some sound effects amd this is a grand toy :)
