About the Author
ANNE NORRIS learnt to drive 60 years ago and was a very successful competitor in private driving classes. She has been a member of the British Driving Society for 42 years and for many years was a member of the BDS Council and the BDS Show Committee. She has lectured on private driving for the BDS in the UK, Canada and the USA. Miss Norris is now a member of the BDS Senior Judges Consultative Committee having been a private driving judge for over 30 years. CAROLINE DOUGLAS LHHI is one of the best exponents of carriage driving today. She has successfully competed in both the show ring and driving trials with single and multiple turnouts. Dressage training in Austria provided Caroline with the rare ability to relate to both riding and driving horses. She is a senior panel judge, examiner, lecturer and trainer, with a driving and riding centre in Sussex.
