The one and only time Gary Numan has experimented with his music. Complete and utter magic.

Great songs but marred by samey-ness (a problem that's plagued him on a lot of albums) and the worst production you'll ever hear.

Some good stuff here. Let down by Numan over-commercialising his sound and some absolutely rampant plagiarism.

Certainly under-produced, but 'Replicas' is still amongst Numan's strongest collection of songs.

An improvement on it's predecessor, 'Warriors', that's for sure. Terrible image choice though.

Personally, I think 'Telekon' shows it's age badly at certain points ('Please Push No More', 'The Aircrash Bureau', title track). There's also no denying that it contains some awesome tracks too.

Musically, the beginning of the end, though the title track is still utterly wonderful.

The promos from 'Warriors' to 'Machine + Soul'. They range from poor to downright embarrassing.

Not much to say about this that hasn't been said before. Mostly bile.

'Hybrid' is a big, big let-down. The bonus DVD 'Mutate' is worth having for the modern promos.

Not worth buying as the full gig ('Cold Warning') is now available on Numan's own website making this DVD totally irrelevant.

In fairness to Numan, he didn't write the music on this mind-numbing bland-fest - but he should never have gotten involved with it in the first place. 'Change Your Mind' and 'Voices' stand out.
