This traditionally designed knife will look great in any kitchen with its contemporary style magnetic block. These knives are a great value Sabatier style knife with a full tang for strength and durability and a traditional three rivet handle.

The blade is a precision taper ground blade, which produces a very fine edge, allowing your knife to glide effortlessly through your food. The fan style knife block allows easy removal when cooking, and the magnets inside the block keep your knives in place securely.

Included in the block are 5 knives, all with different uses.

Paring Knife: This small knife is designed for top and tailing all of your favourite vegetables

All Purpose knife: This knife is an all rounder- ideal for slicing, trimming and cutting meats, vegetables and sandwiches… how handy

15cm Cooks knife: This knife is designed with a wide tapering blade, allowing you to rock the knife when slicing while still protecting your knuckles- with a 15cm Blade

Carving Knife: This rigid blade, with its taper ground edge, makes it ideal for slicing through meat, boneless roasts, larger fruit and poultry.

Bread Knife: The scalloped edge on the blade of this knife, breaks through the crust allowing the knife to slice through even the softest of bread without tearing

All the knives are dishwasher safe, although we do advise that they are hand dried to keep them in tip-top condition. Although we do not envisage you having any problems with these knives, they come with a Richardson Sheffield 25 year guarantee, offering you peace of mind with your purchase

I had one of these knifes bought for a christmas present. Great would not be without one. That is the reason I am buying more. My knife as been in the dishwasher and did not get any rust spots as the custom said, althought the handle feels a bit rough as though the shine as come off but what do expect in such high temp. It is still usable and I have told my lot not to put it in the dishwasher for that very reason. But on the whole the knifes are fantastic.

Looks good but.....
The knives are good and the block looked good initially. There are magnetic strips inside each slot to hold the knife in place and these magnetic strips have come away from the block and need sticking back. This is a pain. I still like the look of the block but if I'd have paid full price for it, I would be cross.

First block came to a sad end, but Amefa made it right
My initial review came after I ran these "dishwasher safe" knives through my usual dishwasher programme and they came out in what looked like rust spots. The spots wouldn't clean off entirely and left pits. I was very unhappy and reviewed here. Amefa (parent company) got in touch via Amazon, replace my first block and collected it for testing in case it was a product problem, sent me a replacement upgrade, then sent me a second replacement when the other block I'd ordered had a crack in it. I'm impressed with their customer care and my replacement knives have done very well in the dishwasher with only a little fading on the handles. I'm therefore changing my review. These are good cutting knives although if you want them to stay pristene they really need washing by hand (that gets 3 stars instead of a 4 if I can only work out how to edit it).
