THIS IS A SUPERB PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
The only alternative I know of which is an attachment for the very heavy and noisy Kenwood Chef, my one has come to the end of its useful life.
Princess 1940 White Potato Peeler/Salad Spinner is very light and less noisy than the Kenwood Chef and is very easy to clean. It peels the spuds very fast and removes all the skin except the eyes (like the Kenwood Chef) you only need only 400ml of water.
The best gadget buy I have ever made.
