    Good product, good service5
Bought the Humax Freesat box from BA Yeoman & Son - arrived promtly and well packaged. Excellent product, easy to set up (all automatic). As per other reviews, HDMI cable is supplied, but to upgrade, link DVD player/recorder with another one - dump the Scart leads. We now ignore Freeview as the digital signal in this part of Dorset can fragment - no trouble with sat.dish! Price has now gone down from other suppliers, but that's life.

    HUMAX HD FREESAT RECEIVER5
This has got to be the easiest product in the world to set up. I opened the box, plugged in the satellite lead, connected the included HDMI cable and switched it on. Tuning is automatic and the set up was complete in 5 minutes. The BBC HD channel picture quality is simply awesome, although some of the programmes are not! Now I did buy a separate HDMI lead as per the Amazon recommendation and can say there is a perceptible difference in picture quality between the included lead and the new one. So throw away the SCART cable (if you can), throw away the included HDMI lead and buy a quality one. I've kept my Sky+box to use as a recorder and have that connected to another TV. Obviously it only shows the free to air channels.

Great product, but buy a decent HDMI cable.

    easy freesat5
I bought this in conjuction with the install from another site as I did not want to have to go up ladders / install the dish and it was an all in deal. I bought it over a year ago and it has performed tirelessly. It is small, reliable and fairly easy to use. One annoyance is it takes a while to start up so if you have missed the start of something you cannot switch it on right away it takes 30 seconds approx to perform the start up application from standby mode.
There are plenty of sockets in the back for your needs, the satelite aerial, HD and 2x scarts being the most important. This was I believe the first freesat on the market, and my first freesat, and as it is does what is says without problems and has lasted me longer than one year I recommend it.
