Customer Reviews

Logitech LX7105
I bought this keyboard and few weeks ago, and it has been bliss to use!! It was very easy to install. It comes supplied with all the batteries, which seem to last quite a while. THe keyboard itself is very nice to use, and is of high quality. The mouse is a little on the heavy side, and quite large, but once you get use to it it's fine... not really worth buying a separate one. THe USB reciever seems to work quite well, and appears to have a range of at least 5 metres. So all in all, i'm very pleased with this product.

Nicely surprised5
I think the description of the item both on the box and on the site is misleading, because it gives one to think that the a USB receiver plugged into the back or front on the PC is all that is necessary. It is all that is necessary if you have a laptop and are going to use the keyboard and mice very close-by.

If you have a PC then you will need to plug the USB receiver into a holder which sits on your desk and connects to a USB port in your PC. The holder for the USB receiver is very light indeed and could easily be moved. Mine is happily Velcro-ed to the back of the monitor out of sight.

The keyboard is fairly sturdy and grips the desk nicely - no sliding around.

The keys have a satisfying resistance under the fingers and are very quiet. Even the space bar is almost silent.
The function of the function keys is denoted to anyone with clear eyesight by a small self-explanatory icon. So the f4 key with a calculator on it opens the calculator and so it.
It is as as easy as that.

There are buttons on the side of the keyboard which will open you pictures (left hand) and media player (right-hand) and the top are six keys, three are volume control, one is to open you email, one will open messenger, and the last will open you favourite search engine.

Function keys F9 to F12 inclusive can be programmed to open an application, or open your favourite web page (perhaps your blog or news site).

The mouse is a nice shape and fit comfortably in my hand. It has the usual right and left click buttons with a scrolling button which you can also move form left to right, but it won't cause you any accidents when navigating or playing games as far as I can tell.

There are also two other buttons on the mouse with which you can move back or forwards without using the right-click manoeuvre, but again I don't think it is likely you will accidentally move back or forward.

The mouse also had a on/off switch on its underside.

I have opened pictures and paused songs by accident, but I don't think that counts against the keyboard.

The duo came well packaged and it easily wrapped if you want to gift wrap it yourself. It also works straight out of the box, and you do not have to install any of the software.

I'm quite demanding about quality and I quite like what I have received for my money, and furthermore I would have no qualms about given this as a gift.

Great for DTP, CAD and the usual home media stuff5
I use the set-up mainly for design work and have found it great so far. Both the keyboard and mouse are sharp with no delays/repeats. The laser is a real improvement on both ball and optical!

Having been through a number or wired and wireless keyboards/mice, I was expecting some glitches ...but none (so far). Haven't got through a set of batteries yet (they are still on full power) so can't comment but then there's always rechargables if needs be.
