great laptop
Having got a vista laptop from elsewhere a couple of weeks earlier and had so much hassle with it I ended up returning it before it drove me to a nervous breakdown. Chose this one because of the windows XP and so far it's brilliant. Set up totally problem free and running like a dream. It is Vista capable, but I for one am in no rush to update until all the bugs in that software are sorted out. If you are looking for a second pc for the home this one is far more compatible with pre-vista pc's, printers etc.
Wholly inadequate RAM
How on earth in this day and age can such a supposedly high spec laptop come with only 512mb of RAM? Answer to keep the price down but then that's only temporarily because you will be forced to purchase more only to find that it is not the most commonly available (aka reasonably priced) RAM available.
