Brilliant
An all-round great camera. Brilliant battery life, used in florida nonstop and only charged once a week. I used this in a variety of different lightings and the pictures have come out brilliant. Used in the dark in fast mode came out realy well, red eye reduction works a treat. No problems so far, (after 1 month) however lack of optical veiw finder is annoying in bright light. Can't find any other fault though, and love the design.

Nothing else in price range comes close with a rechargable battery this good.

Solid performer, simple OUTSTANDING!!!
I have no hesitation to say that this is simply an outstanding product by samsung. Picture quality is crisp clear, bright, vibrant with tons of features. The video recording capability is superb too i was really surprised if the clip i recorded is from a camcorder or simply a digicam. LCD is very bright, autofocus feature works miracles but you have the capability to do manual tweaks.

Feature-packed, stylish and top value
The styling on the L80 takes you back to classic days, but the camera itself has all the features an amateur and holiday-photographer would ever need (including the usual bundle of "fun frames" and the like that nobody actually wants).

I found it to be sturdy and very easy to use. It's bigger than the midget cameras that fit almost-invisible into a shirt pocket. The auto exposure settings produce decent photos most of the time, and the manual controls are intuitive and work well if you need to tweak things a bit.

The price has dropped a lot since I bought it last summer (2006) and it's now an unbelievable bargain. Buy it.
