Excellent for new syllabus
Have already used the AS book with my pupils and found it matched the new syllabus well and was set out clearly. The CD with the book was useful to pupils. (The CDRom matching the AS course containing practical sheets and powerpoints was also a useful teaching resource but expensive. It would have been more useful if it contained homework sheets as well.)

OCR A2 Chemistry print review
We initially received a misprinted copy with missing pages but this was replaced expeditiously by amazon's returns and replacement Policy. The book is succinct with good examples and diagrams with an interesting structured layout ideal for dipping in or paced revision. Although the CD is light on detail, the prompts are good revision aids to the more detailed book.

this book is a fantastic revision guide as it simplifies all topics of chemistry! without the AS version of this book i would have failed my exams and so far the A2 has not dissapointed me, i learn more from this book than i do at school and the exam style questions are very helpful. i recommend to anyone who is finding chemistry hard, though it is very specific to OCR syllabus, i would only buy it if OCR is your exam board.
