Customer Reviews
Sharpen your chess tactics in 7 days
As always with Gary Lanes' books, entertaining and perceptive. I am enjoying, and learning. His examples are good, and his comments enlightening.
Chess Tactics
Although the book has many good points the recipient did struggle when trying to follow the game scenarios.
Perhaps I should have bought a more simple and straightforward book. The point being to guage the experience of the recipient before purchase.
What Level is This aimed at?
There was some interesting advice and trivia here, and I read the 7 chapters in 7 days as the title suggested. But the level was mixed up there is a very basic glossary at the back and yet some advanced analysis on the Worrall attack.
It was a light entertaining book but to be honest there are some really top class chess books around now so I cannot justify a 5 star rating for this.
