Not just for trainspotters!
We juat played this game for the first time this weekend after my father-in-law brought it over. From the box it doesn't look that exciting but I promise that it's great fun and highly addictive, although can be very frustrating.

The idea is you are given 6 locations in the UK to visit via the rail network. The problem is the other players can block off stations and leave you having to find an alternative route or waiting to roll a 6 so you can remove their block. Hazard cards come into play at various times meaning that as you are nearing your destination you can be sent to completely the wrong end of the UK.

Great fun, I'd highly recommend it.

Fun for all ages
I played this with my own boys and I'm delighted to find it still available for my grandchildren. There aren't many games that are genuninely fun for children and adults - but this one is and we've even played it with people whose English (and British geography) is very basic because it takes very little explanation and luck is as important as skill so no one is disadvantaged.

Definitely not just for trainspotters!
I'm delighted to see that this game is still made. I had the game as a child and thought my brother was custodian of it. However, having recently asked him to look it out for my children he claims not to have it! I am therefore relieved to see that I will be able to get it for them.

I remember thoroughly enjoying the game as a child and have often thought that there are few board games made which compare. This one should definitely be higher up in the best selling list. I trawled through 6 pages of games looking for a good board game for my children and didn't get to this one.
