Customer Reviews
OK as an Arcade game..
Before I purcashed this game I thought I'd check it out first on some of the gaming site's and the maker's home site.
I was fooled into thinking that this was going to be a lot of fun, and when I read you could chose your own route I thought it would be free roaming, how wrong I was..
The graphic's aren't too bad but the actual game control's are a bit naff. As for the free roaming bit well you have to select from 3-4 pre-arranged route's, so NO FREE ROAMING...
Overall this game would be ok if you were connected to a LAN and had a few friend's over for a beer or 2, BUT it's only 1 player, so no good for LAN parties. And you get bored with it very quickly..
Paris Dakar Rally
Excellent off road action, with the choice of two or four wheels in one fast (too fast at times!), true to life rally game. Graphics are smooth and easy to read at speed. Locked vehicles create a compelling challenge to do better. Would recomend force feedback wheel for the true arcade experience.
A very original Rally Game
With the chance to race Bikes, Jeeps and Buggies across beautifully rendered landscapes, superb effects and challenging courses make for a well put together game.
This game provides Mindsplitingly quick race action for those of you who have the machine to run it.
Fans of Colin McRae and Virtual Rally won't be disappointment with the added element of more dynamic landscapes, this game allows enjoyment for all ages.
There are a number of different ways to finish each track thus giving great replay value, this is further endorsed by the wide range of vehicles available to you.
Control is best done with a joypad or stick as I am sure no one's fingers can move that fast. But these are essential tools of any serious game player anyway.
