All 51 Hercule Poirot short stories presented in chonological order in a single volume - plus a bonus story not seen for more than 70 years. 'My name is Hercule Poirot and I am probably the greatest detective in the world.' The dapper, moustache-twirling little Belgian with the egg-shaped head, curious mannerisms and inordinate respect for his own 'little grey cells' has solved some of the most puzzling crimes of the century. Appearing in Agatha Christie's very first novel in 1920 and her very last in 1975, Hercule Poirot became the most celebrated detective since Sherlock Holmes, appearing in 33 novels, a play, and these 51 short stories. Arranged in their original publication order, these short stories provide a feast for hardened Agatha Christie addicts as well as those who have grown to love the detective through his many film and television appearances. This new edition now also includes Poirot and the Regatta Mystery, an early version of an Agatha Christie story not published since 1936!

Pure Genius
If you've ever enjoyed a Poirot mystery, then this is the book for you. It's ideal for reading in one go, or equally good for dipping into. The book contains every Poirot short story ever written, and the result is a testament to the genius of Agatha Christie.
Perfect for holidays
All those who enjoy Poirot mysteries (and frankly, who doesn't) will love this book of mini-mysteries: they are as well-written and compelling as the longer stories. This collection is especially appropriate to take on holiday, when you might not want to concentrate on one long story for several hours. It would also be ideal to read while commuting, as you can enjoy a different story each day, without having to trawl through stuff you've already read to remember who so-and-so is. And, of course, it's also great for those of us who are simply impatient, and can't wait 100 pages to find out whodunnit!
No better bang for your buck
Absolutely brilliant collection of short crime fiction. It's a little bulky to manage but for a traveller on the move (or at home on a story a night) it's about as much fun as you can have with your pijamas on!! I had pre-judged Poirot on some pretty poor-rate Hollywood movies and (in my opinion) an over-styled Granada TV series. The novels are well worth this exploratory read and at the cover price you'd be hard pushed to find better value for money. A perfect companion to a long flight or a busy schedule.
